Overnight stays in an alpine refuge with daily excursions to the heart of one of the largest glaciers in the Alps.
It clearly requires a good physical shape that allows you to tackle the various climbs foreseen by the program, as well as the ability to ski on unpaved slopes (in particular for this program the ability to run the skis parallel on a black slope is required)
Rendezvous, briefing and equipment check with the Alpine Guides. Transfer to the Rolle Pass and snowshoe hike up to the Rifugio Capanna Cervino lodge. Set off for the Cima del Castellaz, where you will find the Cristo Pensante (Thinking Christ), then return to the shelter and spend the evening in good company.
After breakfast, climb to the beautiful Baita Segantini lodge to admire one of the Dolomites’ most unique landscapes. From this point, descend into the Val Venegia at the foot of one of the most beautiful coral reefs of the Dolomites: the northern chain of the Pala group. On continue towards Malga Venegia hut and Malga Juribello hut, arriving at Passo Rolle. Transfer to San Martino di Castrozza. Overnight hotel stay with dinner.
Take the Colverde Rosetta gondola to the Pala Group Plateau. Exiting the cable car at an altitude of 2680 metres, you will emerge into a sea of white dunes. Head for the Cima delle Scarpe (2802 m) through the Riviera di Manna and the Passo Pradidali Alto. Return along ridges and hollows of snow formed by the wind, surrounded by 360 degree mountain views, descending by skilift to San Martino di Castrozza
