Three-days skitour among the wild slopes in the Adamello mountain range, in the hearth of the biggest glacier of the Alps.
An hut-to-hut itinerary that goes through the emblematic places of the First World War including the unmissable climb to Adamello peak – one of the top destinations for mountaineers and skitourers all over the world – and the exciting descent along Pisganino!

3 Hours Before Flight Time
Overnight stays in an alpine refuge with daily excursions to the heart of one of the largest glaciers in the Alps.
It clearly requires a good physical shape that allows you to tackle the various climbs foreseen by the program, as well as the ability to ski on unpaved slopes (in particular for this program the ability to run the skis parallel on a black slope is required)
at 18:00 meeting with the alpine Guide for a short briefing on the prorgam and equipment check. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
CRESTA CROCE 3305m – climb by lifts to Passo Presena. Departure towards Cresta Croce where the renowned Cannone G149 is located, this is a 60 quintals artillery piece that was towed up here in 1916 with titanic effort by the Alpine troops. Dinner and overnight stay in hut. +880m/-850m
MONTE ADAMELLO 3539m – departure towards Adamello peak along Pian di Neve glacier. This is a medium-easy difficulty itinerary thanks to the moderate elevation gain, that gradually increases with the approach of the top. Dinner and overnight stay in hut. +550m/-1140m
MONTE MANDRONE 3283m – climb uphill to Passo del Lago and continue to Monte Mandrone. Then enjoy the Pisganino descent that with more than 2000m downhill leads to Ponte di Legno. Return by cable car to Passo Tonale and departure. +840m/-1680m
