A compact network of good quality and signposted cycle paths, along the lakeshore and the attractive surrounding countryside, promise visitors an enjoyable and undisturbed cycling experience. Take the chance to visit Mainau island or take a walk through the old town of Constance. The aquariums in the Sea Life Center and the Archaeological Museum are also recommended.
Your first bike tour takes you along the southern shore of Lake Constance. Pretty Swiss fishing villages adorn the cycle path to Stein am Rhein in Switzerland. Enjoy a stroll around the town that is known for its medieval houses with their oriels and paintings. Furthermore take a look at the majestic Hohenklingen Castle during a walk along the « Schiffländi ».
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Alberese and visit the dell’Uccellina Natural Park with guide. The vast area of the Maremma regional park, more than 10,000 hectares, stretches along the Tyrrhenian coast from Principina a Mare to Talamone.
The park offers the opportunity to visit different places: from the typical Mediterranean landscape to the rocky coasts, beaches, dunes, swamps and rivers. There is also the possibility of participating in the work of the cowboys with their herds of horses and cattle, known as Butteri de la Maremma.

From Überlingen you will cycle to Friedrichshafen. You will pass by the baroque pilgrimage church of Birnau and the ancient town of Meersburg with its old Castle on the way. In Friedrichshafen the Zeppelinmuseum is worth visiting. Overnight stay in the region of Kressbronn.
Today you will travel towards the Bavarian town of Lindau, which is picturesquely situated on an island. Then you will head on towards Bregenz. The capital town of Vorarlberg is famous for its annual drama festival on the largest lake theatre in the world. You will then pass through an important nature reserve on the Rhein delta.
The last day of your tour leads you through Romanshorn, with the most important Swiss harbour on Lake Constance. You will pass many villages full of wooden framed houses on your way back to Constance. You can visit Mainau island today if you haven’t already done so.
