Poland, a country of Catholic tradition, is rich in many religious sites and high places of spirituality: the sanctuary of Our Lady of Czestochowa and its miraculous icon of the Black Madonna, the sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Lagiewniki where holy people are mentioned. Faustina to whom Jesus revealed the full extent of divine mercy, Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, the « Polish Jerusalem » … But also Wadowice, the birthplace of Karol Wojtyla and Krakow where the future Saint John Paul II was archbishop. Our pilgrimages to Poland will also take you to Auschwitz, the Benedictine Abbey of Tyniec and Wroclaw, one of the most beautiful and oldest cities in Poland.

3 Hours Before Flight Time
In Poland, where the Christian tradition is very present, there are, as in other European countries, many places of worship, sanctuaries, which attract crowds of pilgrims. At the time of processions, these shrines are not limited to being the place of religious celebrations, they are the occasion for colorful popular festivals, festivals deeply rooted in the tradition of the region. These places of worship are also part of the rich architectural and artistic heritage of Poland and Europe. Several of them are listed monuments of the first order.

3. In the spring and summer season – a short or longer barge cruise on the Vistula River – for example from
Tyniec to the Wawel Castle.
Transfer to Tyniec (Benedictine Abbey – 12 km from the airport)/, accommodation, lunch, time to relax.
After a short rest drive to Krakow – tour of the Old Town: Market Square, St. Mary’s Church…;
returning to Tyniec; dinner and overnight.
After breakfast /and Holy Mass – possible every day in the case of a pilgrimage group/ excursion to
Wieliczka Salt Mine, sightseeing. After lunch drive to Krakow – visit in the Cathedral and the Royal Castle
Wawel /tours about 1.5 hours/; free time for coffee, buy souvenirs etc., Return to Tyniec, dinner and overnight.
After breakfast drive to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska /the Marian Sanctuary very important to the heart of
John Paul II /. After lunch transfer to Oswiecim and visit the former concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau, drive to Wadowice – birthplace of Karol Wojtyla (Pope’s family home, the Basilica Minor – if possible). Return to Tyniec, dinner and overnight.
After breakfast drive to Czestochowa – visiting the historic monastery of the Pauline with miraculous
Black Madonna altar, free time for personal prayer, a coffee, shop for souvenirs ect.
After lunch on the way back we will join one of the selected attractions:
– visiting the historic brewery in Tychy, combined with tasting the products;or The Silesian Museum in Katowice – permanent exhibition or temporary exhibitions concerning the period
of your stay in Poland;or ruins of the castle in Ogrodzieniec; or Koszęcin – a palace and park complex with the seat of the famous Silesia song and dance ensemble /the possibility of organizing a dinner combined with a short concert and dance performances/; one of the many historic wooden churches is also nearby; or another tourist attraction depending on your preferences.
Dinner; return to Tyniec and overnight.
After breakfast drive to Lagiewniki – in Holy Mass and visit to the Divine Mercy Sanctuary, lunch,
transfer to the airport and departure.
