By train: TGV Paris Montparnasse – Nantes then bus to Fromentine (ferry terminal). For the return, bus Noirmoutier – Nantes then TGV to Paris Montparnasse.
During the tour, bus connection Fromentine – Noirmoutier (30 min).
By car: Paris – Fromentine, around 4:45 am.

3 Hours Before Flight Time
The island is its nature, so unique for the diversity of the landscapes and the richness of the flora. It is unsurprisingly protected and conserved by a number of measures.
Along the shores, beaches are nested among the rocks or backed by dunes and pine woods. Away from the coast, the island has all the old charm of a pastoral countryside. Even though the island is so small, floating in the middle of the sea, underneath an endless sky, it is possible to walk for an hour or more without coming across a road or a single person.

Hike on the « Sentier du Levant » which covers the eastern half of the island. The route runs along the coast to Pointe des Corbeaux and then to Port de la Meule before reaching Port Joinville via St-Sauveur.

In the morning, crossing back to the continent. Road to Noirmoutier-en-l’Île (by car or bus, except package, about 30 minutes). Half-day walk in the footsteps of Jacobsen to discover the outer port Noirmoutier, the Bois de la Chaise, the Müllembourg nature reserve and the Jacobsen dike, from where you will have beautiful views of the town of Noirmoutier in the island with its castle and its church.
