The discovery of the Channel Islands by bike is a joy and the scenery is total just 1 hour from Saint-Malo! The network of cycle lanes has been remarkably improved and the “Green Lanes” or the “Quiet Ruettes” give pride of place to cyclists.
In Jersey and Guernsey, you will discover a hilly landscape where charming cottages, flowered chapels, mills and small lively ports hide. On the coastline, there are spectacular rocky peaks dominating the ocean and long bays of fine sand.
On Serq, a small seigneurial island, only the noise of horse-drawn carts will disturb the tranquility of the ride. All of these routes will give you time to enjoy a brunch at the pub or enjoy a sunny break by the sea.

Arrival in the afternoon in Saint-Malo, in a hotel in the heart of the inner city.
Overnight in Saint-Malo.
Crossing to Jersey in the early morning. Upon arrival, a driver will be waiting to transport your luggage to the hotel. Then the first bike tour on the west coast, along the immense bay of Saint-Ouen framed by the Pointe de Corbière and the cliffs of Groznez. The fortifications built during the second world war mark out this wild coastline.

Today, head for the north coast of Jersey via through the green valley of the island. On the coast, you will discover spectacular cliffs: Grève de Lecq, the « Trou du Diable ». Return to St. Helier through the village of Saint John’s.

Guernsey, the tip of Jerbourg
Free time on Saint-Hélier (depending on the boat crossing schedule). Crossing to Guernsey (1h). The loop of the tip of Jerbourg allows us the steep and spectacular southern coastline: Moulin Huet Bay, the small anchorage of Saint’s Bay. The return to Saint-Peter is made by small green alleys.

Landing on Serq (1 hour crossing, without bikes), an island cut off from the world where traditional activities (fishing, agriculture and crafts) are the main resources of the island. The gardens of the seigneury and the passage of the coupe are essential places of discovery. A paradise for cyclists! Hiking or cycling (rental not included on the island).
Overnight in St-Peter Port (Guernsey).
By the quiet « ruettes », we reach the west of Guernsey. The route crosses a bucolic landscape of hills, valleys and pastures then leads to the beautiful Rocquaine bay and the mysterious island of Lihou dominated by the ruins of the old priory. Return to Saint-Peter via the Talbot Valley and the parish of Saint-Andrew in the heart of the island.
